Well, the history has began around 1880 when my great-grandfather Matteo departed from Amalfi and stopped in Gioia Tauro trying his fortune. Resourceful man, after a little time, he began that activity of commerce that still today brings his name and that, after three generations, I am still proud to keep alive.

My desire of collecting sprang more or less twenty years ago, when visiting a market in Veneto I found a postcard edited  by Matteo Anastasio of the year 1897.

This collection of postcards, born after years of meticulous research, visually represents one hundred years of history of this town. My desire is to make it available to all those people that around  the world feel close to this town, wanting to make a leap in the past with my wish to get good feelings and beautiful memories from it.
